I'm Kristin Tweedale and I'm a senior Political Science/Women's & Gender Studies major at Rutgers University.  I generally consider myself to be a progressive feminist academic (for whatever its worth). I'm planning on graduating in May and then considering several schools to pursue a PhD in American Politics.

I'm also an avid photographer/documentarian/scrapbooker; I work with several crafting manufacturers and my projects have been published in several magazines around the world. I keep a separate crafting blog at rukristin.blogspot.com.

I'm writing my senior thesis at Rutgers University under the supervision of Kira Sanbonmatsu and the Political Science department.  I'm documenting the process here on my blog. I'll be updating throughout the year with my progress. I'll be operating this blog under a Creative Commons licence.
